After reviewing this week’s reading material in detail, I realized that the distinction between visual and textual aspects played a massive role in the learning process. A combination of verbal and visual methods can improve students’ learning efficiency. Teaching by showing images makes it easier for viewers to understand and thus makes it easier for learners to remember what is being taught because the human brain processes images faster than words.
Whenever we see images, they are etched in our long-term memory, allowing us to recall those concepts. At the same time, learners can connect the words and pictures received visually by observing the whole to achieve the learning goals. Using such a combination has played a crucial role in the learning process. Students can remember longer, and the teaching process is more interesting, thereby improving students’ interest in learning and allowing students to learn by macro analysis of the knowledge points carried out as a whole.

Secondly, I highly recommend using sketchnoting to sort out students’ thoughts in the learning process, such as drawing mind maps. Students can record all the relevant information in their minds and sort out all the critical information through brainstorming, thereby increasing learning efficiency at the level of logic and memory.
