User Experience of Wave
After copying and pasting my URL to one of my posts to WAVE, I found that this platform marked the various information on my website very clearly, including the title, picture, video, and other information.

Besides that, WAVE gave me relevant suggestions, such as the suggestion to add information at the bottom of the picture or add corresponding paragraph headings at the beginning of specific paragraphs. What amazes me is that WAVE’s suggestions for visualization are also very detailed.

For example, the color contrast between the text and background marked in my post is not strong enough, making the viewer’s reading experience unpleasant. Undoubtedly, I will use the platform frequently in my future assignments to improve the overall quality of my posts.
Inclusive Design
When it comes to inclusive design, the role of inclusive design in education has to be mentioned. I believe inclusive design in education is fundamental to improving education, enabling everyone to achieve their full potential. We need to know that the diversity of education is not seen as a problem but as an opportunity. In the video below, the researchers also reported on the importance of inclusive education.
Nevertheless, implementing the inclusive design in education is very difficult. Two years ago, I asked three educators about the current state of inclusive education, but the answers I heard were surprisingly consistent, which is worth our reflection. They believe that inclusive design is tough to implement. One of the reasons is that although most parents give sympathy, they always think that their children and special children are learning in the same environment, which will easily affect their children’s learning progress and concentration. As a result, they are reluctant to let their children study with children under particular circumstances. The second reason is that teachers are unwilling to accept children with special circumstances. First, because teachers do not have the energy to pay attention to children with special circumstances, and second, it may be because they do not have the qualifications to deal with emergencies. To sum up, from the perspective of most parents and teachers, inclusive design in education still needs much improvement.
