After finishing this week’s content, I have a new understanding of the development of artificial intelligence in education. First, the stimulating initiative is one of the tasks of intelligent education because the desire for excellent teaching resources is based on the scenario that students rely more on teachers, schools, and other external environments to promote their learning. If students’ enthusiasm for independent learning increases, their dependence on high-quality teachers and teaching software and hardware will decrease. In terms of personalization, many platforms provide individual game methods for daily training, such as Duolingo, Khan Academy, and so forth, making students more interested and targeted in learning new knowledge.
Khan Academy
Speaking of Khan Academy, what I have to admit is that it gives me a great user experience due to targeted instruction and proper flexible content and tools,
First, their concise and easy-to-understand video style has attracted most users, and almost every video only explains one or two knowledge points. Not only me but everyone around me who has experienced Khan’s educational videos claimed they fell in love with such a concise and easy-to-understand style. Sometimes their five-minute video is even much clearer than half an hour of offline classroom content.

When I became more familiar with the operation of the Khan Academy platform, I found that their personalization helped students with different learning abilities more deeply. For example, the platform interface will require students to choose options including region, grade, subject, etc. After the selection, the platform will recommend more suitable content for students based on the options. What’s more, Khan Academy’s platform also includes Integrated Digital Content. For example, students can click the “get help” button after answering a wrong question in the platform test, and more detailed targeted explanations and reference videos will appear. Besides that, Khan Academy supports establishing two accounts for parents and students so that parents can check their children’s learning status at any time through instant data collecting, including what the child is doing well or not good enough. Their intelligent data collection provides convenience to parents and students and improves students’ interest in learning.
In any case, I highly recommend every student or teacher who has yet to try Khan Academy to experience this platform. I hope everyone can gain more teaching or learning experience from it.
